Top – The label is placed on a product from above. Applications include clam shell containers, cartons, DVD cases, & container caps or lids. It can be easily integrated into production lines.

Side – Labeling the side of a box or product. Used for case labeling, spot labeling, or prime label applications, and can be integrated into custom production lines.

Bottom – The label is placed onto the product from below. Applications include prepackaged food, clam shells, bottles, cartons &

cases. This uses a hugger or split conveyor.

Front/Back – Applies labels to the front & back of a product. The prime label is applied with merge/wipe on. Common use is retail products but can be used for any type of front/back applications.

Corner Wrap – The label is held in place by the labeler’s dual action, vacuum tamp pad. At the precise moment the side of the product passes by the pad, the applicator cylinder extends toward the product, instantly and accurately applying the label. Once retracted, the next label is placed on the vacuum tamp pad. View Video

Dual Action Tamp – The label is held in place by the labeler’s dual action, vacuum tamp pad. At the precise moment the side of the product passes by the pad, the applicator cylinder extends toward the product, instantly and accurately applying the label. Once retracted, a second label is placed on the vacuum tamp pad which then rotates 90 degrees across the conveyor to apply the rear label. View Video

Wrap – uses a vacuum drum that follows the shape of the product. It can partially or completely wrap around a round container. It can be used to apply front/back labels with the correct application. A common use is wine bottles

Swing Tamp – The tamp swings down to apply a label. The applicator is positioned away from the product so not to be in the way for moving down a product line. Applies label to leading/trailing edge of a product. Example: case labeling

Loose Loop – Integrates a stand alone label printer & a standard label applicator.

This offers a wide variety in printers with a choice for labels sizes, print speed, and application speeds. Labels are printed on the stand alone printer & threaded into an interfacing label applicator. The loose-loop method has a faster application rate than a print engine. They are great for labeling larger product lots. It can be used to merge or wipe on thermal transfer labels.

Rotary – handles four panel, neck-on oval, semi-oval, triangular, three panel, or safety seal (tamper-evident) labeling.
