Front/Back Labeling has three modes of operation: Single Label Application, Front & Back Label Applications, Cover Label or Re-Label Applications. All modular conveyors are equipped with rugged Versalum extruded aluminum side frames and electronically matched top trap ensures optimum system flexibility and performance. It runs at variable labeling speeds to 300+ Products per minute depending upon applicator configurations. The system easily integrates into existing packaging lines or off line configurations.

Options are spot labeling capabilities, product eject stations, redundant labeling, 90 degree product turn stations, barcode verification scanner, and red, green and amber light stacks

CTM Bottom Labeling

bottom labeling

Bottom labeling systems are available in two configurations. Above left, a dual hugger belt assembly is used to transport products through a top and bottom labeling station. The dual hugger belts provide a positive drive through virtually any method of labeling.

Below left, split belt conveyors convey products over a bottom labeler. Products with adequate mass or products that vary in width are ideal candidates for this method of labeling.

Each method of labeling is somewhat unique and specific to a given range of product sizes, shapes and weights. Both systems are available with a full range of options and accessories to optimize operator efficiencies and ensure complete line integration.

CTM Indexing Wrap Labeling

3 Roller Indexer System features a heavy duty rugged conveyor base, has stainless steel conveyor side frames, and an easily adjustable applicator mount. It has an operator control console, stepper driven indexing drive roller, and is easily integrated into existing lines.

Mode of Operation: Single labels (front or back) can be applied to various diameter or height wine bottles. Labels can be oriented specifically to physical characteristics, registration marks or existing graphics.

Front & Back Label Applications will require front & back labels to be converted in altering fashion on the same web. As the indexer rotates each bottle, the controller will monitor the bottle’s rotation and trigger the applicator to apply the labels 180° opposite each other.

Label-Aire 5015 CFB Labeling

5015 cfb labeling

5015 CFB "Cylindrical Front and Back" pressure-sensitive labeling system is designed to wrap apply front and back labels, up to 180 degrees around, to cylindrical containers at speeds up to 60 products per minute to +/- 1/16" (1.6 mm) accuracy.

The 5015 CFB utilizes two model 2015 applicators, with the Label-Aire patented inline system of applying front and back labels to cylindrical products that require labels to be centered relative to each other. The 5015 CFB uses two rolls, one for front label and one for back labels - instead of special rolls with alternating front and back labels - saving you money on labels and labor.

Ideal applications for this system include wine bottles, candles, and other cylindrical products. It can also be used as a straight wrap around labeler for full and partial wrap applications.
