Label-Aire Inline 6000 Front/Back & Neck Labeling
System
 |
A contract packager needed a labeling system to apply clear
labels to the front and back of a variety of container shapes
at speeds up to 160 containers per minute. Also required was
the ability to apply a label to the neck of these containers.
The
custom solution was to modify its Inline Series 6000 open-frame
labeling system to accommodate a total of three 3115 Wipe-On
applicators. One applicator was mounted near the infeed side
of the system for neck labeling. The remaining two applicators
were placed on opposite sides of the 14 foot long conveyor
for front/back labeling.
A chain aligner was also mounted near
the infeed side to align the oval-shaped containers prior to
reaching the top trap hold down unit. Custom layered wipe-down
squeegees were designed to provide superior clear label placement.

Label-Aire Inline 6000 Wrap (Oblong & Round)

|
A producer of natural personal care products needed a single
labeling system that could wrap apply decorative labels to
both their oblong-shaped deodorant stick containers and to
their round lotion bottles.
The solution was to configure the
Inline Series 6000 labeling system with the 3115 Wipe-On applicator
and a selection of available options to make the quick change
from round to oblong containers (and vice-versa) possible.
The result was the Inline 6000 Wrap Labeling System. For round
containers, the 6000’ss
wrap belt spins the moving bottles several times against a
padded pressure plate after the point of application, ensuring
accurate and wrinkle-free labels every time. |

Label-Aire Rotating Electronic Article Surveillance
Labeler

|
A compact disc manufacturer required one applicator to apply
both Checkpoint and Sensormatic tags, from six different rotating
positions, on CD jewel cases at speeds up to 60 products per
minute.
Label-Aire designed an applicator with two custom, adjustable,
extended snorkels; each extended snorkel was outfitted with
a dedicated custom tamp assembly for either Checkpoint or Sensormatic
tags. The custom tamp is able to rotate the tag 45 degrees,
90 degrees, or 135 degrees in either a clockwise or counter
clockwise direction. The adjustable snorkels can be extended
to any of three fixed lengths across the conveyor.
