MPI Label Systems began in a small, rented warehouse in downtown
Sebring, Ohio in 1968, with a used printing press and two accounts,
of which both accounts are still with the company today. From
those humble beginnings, MPI has grown into one of the top
five privately-owned roll label converters. As one of the top
10 label companies in the nation MPI has eight
manufacturing facilities, 30 sales locations and more than 500 employees.
So – what’s
the secret to this big growth over a small period of time?
Simple; do whatever it takes to meet the needs of the customer.
“Whatever it takes” is available in a lot of forms.
As a full-line label and equipment supplier, MPI has encountered
and met most every kind of label challenge, including those
associated with the latest advancement, RFID (Radio Frequency
Identification). Whether it’s the printing of flexible
packaging, producing pressure-sensitive labels or providing
high-end automatic labeling equipment, parts, service and support,
MPI promotes a “total solutions” approach.
Divisions
MPI Label Systems consist of three divisions to meet the diverse
needs of its customers:
Printing Division. Though MPI excels at narrow-web
flexographic print, MPI also has the flexibility to print your
labels digitally.
Equipment Division. Sells high-end automatic
labeling equipment and parts, provides on-site service and
trains operators. In addition, its Thermal Systems Department
sells and services top-of-the-line thermal printers, ribbons
and software.
RFID Division. Brings the dynamic technology
of RFID to labels and tags. By making major technology investments
and creating partnerships with leading RFID integrators, MPI
is reinventing its customers’ inventory tracking, resource
management and security operations.
